a little over 15 minutes on this one, I'm getting slower.

Gah.

I hate ER endings.

What are ER endings?

ER endings came about around 4th or 5th season of ER when the episode just ended with no rhyme or reason with one of the many conflicted main characters just staring off into space.

Journey's End had an ER ending due to not setting up the Christmas Episode like in previous years.

But the ending is just small problem in an otherwise bloated episode.


Here’s hoping Christmas Episode 2008 is good...

We helped move Trish and when we were done, waiting for pizza I took a bunch of pictures of the cat exploring it's new home.

He jumped up into the window and saw these strings just waving there. After attcking and killing them he tried to jump away with them, surprizing himself when it stayed in place and flipped him on his back.

I've pimped livelongnmarry before. - a fandom auction in support of gay marriage. And of course I'd be pleased if more people bid on my auction... but I'd be even more pleased if you went and donated in aid of something that floats your boat.


But I feel that it's worth mentioning that new auctions keep rolling in... and they're pretty damn impressive. People keep falling over themselves to offer interesting, creative, unique, and just plain weird stuff. You can have a specialist critique for your novel from a lawyer or a dominatrix. You can acquire anything from jewelry, over regular letters to care packages from around the world; from obscure japanese candy to - of course - fanfic/icon design/webdesign.

*Lots* of good stuff. I am impressed not just by the generosity of people donating for a good cause, but by their inventiveness.

Many members of my flist are offering. I hope that some of you will bid.

And yes, maybe there are more worthy causes on the planet - there always are, *whatever* you choose, and if you wait to help the neediest person in the world before you help anyone else, nothing will ever get done. But what impresses me is the way in which people rally from all over the planet to contribute to making the world a better place. And, y'know, that spirit is going to rub off.

Another underviewed picture eh?

I was left alone for about an hour just now and I put 30 minutes into this sketch (more or less) as I was thinking that I could have a little 500 point battle of nurgle vs slaanesh...
Instead I drew this picture. Go figure.

The games where I know exactly where to spend my XP, I get tiny handfuls of XP at a time.

The games where I have no clue whatsoever where to spend the XP, I get chunks of 20 and 25.

Robin McKinley started this particular obsession. She was talking about roses on her blog - *a lot* - and I thought 'why not'. And me being me, I ended up with a filemaker file and an obsession to try and plant *great roses* rather than _some roses_ - preferably older varieties (two of these are, the other two are more modern, but none of them are hybrid teas), roses with old-fashioned scents (oh yes indeed).

Next year, I'd like to add Tuscany or Tuscany Supreme (as seen and smelled at Buscot Park)


Lady Emma Hamilton (one of the Dave Austen roses, I've seen her a few times but didn't see a particular plant that appealed to me) and, oh well, probably one or two others. Mmmh, roses.
